We are the Appalachian Music Conservancy, aka music-seed.org.

Our mission is to help make sure that youngin's all across the land receive decent music education during their critical formative years. Many schools are downsizing, or cutting out music programs altogether, and we are using this as our call-to-action! No child should be denied this fundamental knowledge, whether rural, urban, affluent or modest. Music is an elemental artistic expression, and grows within us all, but only if nurtured!

Don't let a generation be denied their fundamental music education. Numerous studies have shown the direct correlation of music on the critical thought process. By allowing budget cuts to limit students musical education, we're also placing them at a disadvantage in other curriculums, such as science, and mathematics. Deductive reasoning is shown to be enhanced by complex melodic and rhythmic structure of musical patterns. Plus, it's nice sounding!
